someone help me with sony vegas this is pissing me off

i'm trying to use a solid color for a background, but it's creating these horizontal lines on the top and bottom of the preview. i've tried unchecking maintain aspect ratio, trying to mess with track motion, and even pan/crop won't work. what else can i do?

when in the pan/crop screen for the background, try selecting the preset "1920x1080" crop and see if that will fix it
or do what donnie said, that will probably fix it

it was already on 1920x1080 anyways. i tried setting it to my native resolution but that isn't helping either

1080p, which was the preset already. i tried a bunch of widths but they don't work.
