Right now I have rock band 4 and guitar hero live. But I haven't touched either. But I assume that Rock Band 4's probably gonna be better.

Now for your ultimate challenge. Plug that stuffty Guitar Hero Live controller in, and play Guitar Hero 3. That joke aside, Live is actually decent when you get into playing it. The controller is irritating, and it's better for people with smaller hands, admittedly.

And "Paint It Black" is one of the only decent standard songs on Live.

I haven't played guitar hero live but i'll reserve judgement until i can actually try it, being an avid fan of guitar hero myself I have confidence that they actually made it challenging enough to be interesting. Though the songlist is questionable I will admit that... They did include Through the Fire and the Flames though, so that's a plus.

Yes, but that was on GHTV (their live streaming service), which most of the songs on there are decent enough. The main playlist for the offline career mode is total garbage however.
