Author Topic: Paper Model City  (Read 8817 times)

Hey guys, for a long time now I've been constructing paper scaled-down models of famous tall skyscrapers of the world. I've organized them into a city of my own.

All the models are to scale and their height are accurate.
This for an example, Shanghai tower vs Home insurance building

An example of the paper template (to print): Aon Center

going to send my plane to crash into it, that ok?

i have something to fix that

Now build Annoying Orange's wall.

Print them on really glossy paper and then you get the buildings from the board game called "Hotel"

This is pretty cool! Any plans to do the Burj Khalifa?

This is awesome! Do you make the templates yourself or do you get them from a website?
EDIT: Also, are these a specific scale? Like 1:87th?

Thanks. I get most of them from skyscrapercity.com and they're about 1:1700 I think. Most of them I had to do proportional math and resize it just so it could match up with the actual height and still retain similar proportion to other buildings.
