more importantly, it lets people who might be really passionate about making art to be able to actually get started without substantial monetary or functional barriers, allowing them to justify getting real experience which would help them learn and become really talented artists

nobody starts at anywhere other than zero. companies making awesome programs like this free to use lets people experiment without having to make a huge investment and that's amazing
