My old graphics card wasn't cooled properly, and promptly melted. The guy my parents took the computer to replaced it with the cheapest and most crappiest card he can find.
That was a few years ago, and only now do I have a large craving to play some steam games I haven't touched in a while.

You can get most of it with either the accurate CPU-Z or the inaccurate dxdiag which is already installed on your PC (go to Run>"dxdiag.exe").

If you have the name of your PC (for example, Dell Dimension 8400) I can check your PSU. You could also look for the reference document/manual and check the specs list, or open the case up and look for the big box that you plug the power cable into.

Not entirely sure how much, I may split the cost with my brother or something.

In a perfect world it would probably be less than $60, but that may be asking too much.

Then again, I don't care if the settings for my games aren't high. My current graphics card can't even play them at all.

I think it might be better if you try and get some kind of job and save up a few hundred dollars to get something decent. $60 isn't going to net you anything from this century.

i mean you could get a gt 730 like me, i can max all source games except gmod and run minecraft at max settings

The PSU for your computer is rated at 460W. I also know that you only have access to a PCI Express x16 slot.

Newegg's results might net you something cool.

Before you think about buying, compare the name of your chosen card to this list; only choose parts that have a Recommended PSU Wattage of 430W or lower. In this website, compare your NVIDIA Geforce 210 to the card you think to make sure it will actually give you good results.
