Author Topic: Should I start a state-wide Airline?  (Read 439 times)

I've been a fan of aviation for a while. I really wanted to start my own airlines but I don't really know how to do it or how the costs will be. What I want to do is have a fleet of 5 Cessna 182's going around a few small airports to start and then for domestic flights around California and Nevada, a Boeing 727. Unfortunately, this might be a dream for now as I am 14 and need to educate myself better for a High School Diploma. But if I was older and better matured, could I do it? Also, it would be based in Redlands or San Bernardino, which ever one because Redlands is more like a private runway for small planes and San Bernardino Int'l is also kind of private but currently hosts EVA Air.

Unless you get lucky it will cost way more money than you'll ever make

My grandpa is wealthy. Not filthy rich but pretty good enough.

Unless you have a relative who can give you a small loan of a million dollars, there's no way in hell you can start an airline.

Becoming a pilot is a much more reasonable goal.

Alright thanks. Locking.
