Contrary to popular belief, they wont turn you down, and will still treat you. Who pays for it? The average citizen tax payer.
You know who does turn you down? Philippines, Mexico... etc.

Wtf did you impale yourself with a rock.

Actually though, you can't just make a thread about this and not explain how it happened. We're all dying here.

I felt like my heart was ripping itself out of my chest. I was stabilized and am now ok, out of danger. Awesome healthcare. Not a single complication or an issue. Not a dime paid even with a translation to a high tech hospital for MRI.
Are you gonna get chest-tubed? If so, make sure you ask for a towel to bite.

I really don't know how this happened. The only impact I had was a rather big rock at the park during the morning. In the afternoon, my back and left shoulder (the pucture is on the left lung in the supperior part) were asking for Self Delete and my heart wanted to break free from the chest while beating very hard and arrythmically. I'm going to get seen by a surgeon today.

I've also got no physical damage either on my front nor on my back that would explain it but the pucture is there.

This is why the surgeon is comming. It's a grade 2 (dunno how severe) so I can either end up at home for some time, punctured and tube-remove the air, or straight up operation to get it all out.

I fell on a rock while training for my run at the park.

No, in glorious America, you get your other lung punctured if they find out that you don't have insurance.

Pie is going home. The surgeon said he doesn't want to operate because it's too small so he's sending me home. I will be under observation and need an XRay next week followed by a second MRI and a tomography scan.

Yes but no mark on my torso to be able to say it was the culprit.
