Author Topic: recorders similar to nvidia shadowplay??  (Read 890 times)

by similar i mean you can press a button and record the past minute or so of gameplay

shadowplay is fine but it records all sound instead of just in-game sound

OBS is best
thank you for this informative post but it happens to not help me as i already have obs

I doubt you can get a "time-travelling" recording software without just recording all of your gaming and editing it later.

uh
that's what shadowplay is
i just want one that only records in-game sound

my shadowplay settings say it'll only record in-game sound
does it record system audio anyways?

Uh, really.
That's it's main feature , altough you have to have the nvidia control panel open or running in the background to have it work.

yeah for some reason you can only split it between recording mic and in-game (which includes all system sounds) or just in-game (still includes all system sounds)

Found your solution.

u go play a 45 lol match with no music and you'll see why i want something else

But then if you use music that plays through the system sounds, wouldn't it be the same to just mute the system sounds??

mirillis action has a copycat shadowplay and works pretty well, but its $30

Oh I know, I was just saying you won't find another one like Shadowplay. Sorry for the confusion.
