It's a bit of dumb luck when you get a topic and the exact right timing to be the first post on a unique page number. Doesn't bother me at all, so long as the poster adds something else.

I do find it annoying when its every 10 pages or some stupid number, plus when the page is filled with people saying different roles for said page.
Now, getting the "king" of the 1000th page of a big megathread? Different story. its a big milestone and being the top of that page can be fun.

But yeah, tiny little page kings in the drama section or tiny topics should be considered spam.
