It is, but it do.

Yes, the U.S should take in refugees.
No, the U.S should not take in refugees

Author Topic: Should the U.S take in any refugees from the Middle East?  (Read 3140 times)

I have an intense hatred of nationalistic nonsense.
That "nationalistic nonsense" is responcible for the greatest share of our world's triumph. There's more to living than base self-interest.

If they're migrating legally, we should take in families after checking their backgrounds, and then work on culturally adjusting them, because most of these people come from countries who loving execute apostates lol. Not only that, but they should also have to renew their privilege to remain in the country periodically.

People who actually need to seek refugee should be able to. Not a bunch of cowardly single men with the latest iPhones who want to come over to Sweden and rape pretty white women instead of defending Cuckistan.

Nope. Most of those people that would be coming into our country would be Muslim extremists. Americans should stop viewing Islamic extremism through the lens of political correctness.
Um, no? What leads you to believe that? A lot of these people were displaced from their homes by extremists, or some type of armed conflict. It's pretty handicapped to immediately classify all of them as Muslim extremists. That isn't political correctness, it's just correctness lmao

i'd say if we were going to take them in, it should be after heavy screening and requiring a crash course or two about our laws, culture/customs and language. Sort of like the process normal immigrants have to go through, a little, but specialized to be more streamlined and not focus on citizenship but healthy integration.

Yeah can't say it better then this ^

No because the amount of confused refugees would be annoying to deal with, wheather or not you were working for whatever deals with immigration, it would be a hassle and a large amount of money to bring them to and from. There is also the fact that the fear mongering from the news would cause people to discriminate against the refugees, labeling them all as terrorists or potential terrorists, it would cause the streets to be filled with more homeless people.

At least that's my two cents

Well considering we're bombing the stuff out of Syria and Iraq and drone striking Yemen, Libya, Afghanistan and Pakistan yeah, we should take in some Syrian refugees

Drone strike is an act of cowardice.

Oh yeah you can wipe out an entire village but if they take out your drone no life was lost.

aka a great strategy for ensuring allied infantry survival

Yeah and can be used against us if the enemy captures it.

true but that shouldn't be much of an issue. You could easily program a self destruct mechanism into drones for that exact reason

As someone that now lives in a town where there a stuffton of refugees
DONT
TAKE
THEM

The US is a big country, as long as you don't have a not-well integrated, concentrated area of refugees where they will be a permanent underclass then it's fine to take in refugees

never thought i'd see the day when Paul Joseph Watson is considered a reliable source of information.

No we shouldn't take them in

We can't even properly scan the normal immigrants and these ones are from a place littered with terrorists
