This animate wooden cutout of the medic is possessed by a spirit. The spirits vary from malicious trouble-makers, to friendly pootis spirits, such as the one you have just magically created.
They are not particularly powerful in combat, but have some unique abilities that make them useful. Their attacks are rather weak, but their ability to cast MEEM MAGIC makes them a worthy adversary and ally.
What is most formidible about the MeeM's is their reproduction capabilities. Upon slaying a foe, the fallen foe will transform into a MeeM, under the command of the MeeM who killed it.
The MeeM is suprisingly durable in a fight, their spiritual energies keep their bodies intact, even when on fire. The only way to truely kill a MeeM is to destroy the body, through the use of a cutting tool. Or by destroying the spirit through the use of certain weapons.
If a MeeM is "Killed" otherwise, the spirit will lose connection to the body for a few minutes, but will return to it later and be good as new.
