forget proofs
Got enough of that last semester, I need a break.

isn't this eigenvectors/eigenvalues? I'll solve this tomorrow because I'm too lazy to do it today lol, I actually know how
Yeah. It's also super easy because of the 0's

does not exist m80
I have a problem for you guys: Two cars, both at constant velocities, approach each other from opposite sides of a tarmac. When they pass, they are 800m from the north side of the tarmac. They reach their respective opposite sides, instantly reverse direction, and pass each other again, this time 300m from the south side of the tarmac.

How long is the north-south length of the tarmac?

I can't answer this question

it's not behind an anime girl nor is it on a whiteboard

Fire when the strobe hits you.

I tried my hand at this, may be wrong because I'm pretty tired. Also I was sloppy as forget when I was writing it out so I'll explain textually

Basically, because the cars are at constant velocities, they'll have to be the same distance from the first intersection (800m) in order to intersect there.

1>_______O________<2
    800m         800m

So, after a while, 2 and 1 would switch positions, with 1 continuing south and 2 reaching its opposite side and turning south.

2>_______O________1>
    800m         800m

After that, 1 reaches its side, which would probably be 300m from the other (can't really concretely explain this yet imo)

           2>____O______<1
                300m     300m

Then they would most likely have to be 300m from each other. So this is what it looks like (obvs not to scale):

N_____A___O______O'___S
NO = 800m, O'S = 300m, and AO' = 800-300 = 500.

so the north-south length should be 800+300+500, or 1600.

if it turns out that I had to do something handicapped like get the average distances instead of doing all that then i'd be mildly disappointed

actually I got 550m by doing average

this is completely wrong, it looks as if you measure the distance from north intersect and south intersect and the distance between and then add them up so it probably is 1600

idk if it matters, but he never specified in what relation the cars are traveling to the North-South axis.
aka they would be traveling parallel or perpendicular or somewhere inbetween

what is SURD form

it's 8.something
surd form is expressing an irrational number as a surd as it maintains accuracy and simplicity

for example the sqrt(2) is 1.41421356237, this is a bit long so we round this to 1.4 rather than write the full number. if we then square it back we get 1.96, so we lose some accuracy in that form and thus if we want simplicity and accuracy we keep it simply as the sqrt of 2

if we do my question, we get sqrt(6^2 + 6^2) which goes to sqrt(36 + 36) which then goes to sqrt(72), if we attempt to simplify it we get sqrt(2) and sqrt(36). we can't simplify sqrt(2) without it becoming irrational/not a perfect square number so we sqrt(36) and get 6 which rearranges to 6 sqrt(2)

if we did not express it in surd form it'd be 8.48528137424, which does also work and I could've asked you to simply answer it that way but I wanted to test you lol

Geometry was one of the easiest subjects I had lol. Algebra 2 tho...
both are pretty easy for me

I don't remember that much from geometry though...

maxwell making maths gay.
some said it wasn't possible.

I passed my maths gcse and right now I have NO loving clue what is going on.

this is a parallelogram

this is a triangle

forget ME SCALENE TRIANGLE

(actually I have a 4.0 gpa and an A in every class)

ok child, heres how do do maths
12345, I'm sure there are other numbers in there but you get the idea

its a2+b2=c2 you forget
