on a serious note though if you get riled up just because someone puts > in front of their message, you're pathetic. it doesn't even mean anything, it's basically just a different way to format a message

the guy who was calling me out on it had love with his cousin and I don't really value his opinions anyway just so you guys know, he just inspired the topic
he is not on blf

to me if someone uses it outside of a joke it just looks like they're trying too hard on whatever they're doing

>forget meme arrows man

On a serious note, using these are fine except when you use them for everything you say.

to me it's kinda useful when you're trying to lay down facts or make something like a list, but it looks comical in an argument

for example:

"think of all the cool things that happened today
>i got a cookie
>i got a phone
>i got a cancer"

but when people try to use it in arguments like:

"you're an idiot and here's why
>you use windows
>you're a friend
>you're not cool"

it just looks ridiculous, as if people are trying way too hard

tl;dr: imo it's a colloquial thing, not for actual debate

well it's more of like
>using meme arrows outside of memechan
>having love with dogs
I think
>actually thinking

it's always funny looking when someone uses one of them to make a point like this

>agreeing with an idiot

and them carrying on as if they didn't say it that way

I feel like the main reason they're annoying to any degree is because a lot of people use them wrong

>current year
>calling greentext "meme arrows"

holy stuff you are all cancer

holy stuff you are all cancer
Calling someone cancer makes you yourself cancer.

implications of non-4chan greentext usage<

Calling someone cancer makes you yourself cancer.
