Author Topic: What's the most overrated movie.  (Read 4682 times)

i know a lot of people will get on me for this but one of my favorite (if not my favorite) movie is freddy got fingered

the first shrek movie.

it was ok but not fantastic
shrek 2 was really clever though and probably couldnt have been as awesome as it was without the flubbings of the first tho

the shrek movies end after 2 tho.

im sure it is but at this point it's just getting to the point where furries are just dryhumping the movie
We started doing this after the teaser was put up.

Edit: I thought frozen was terrible
I also think Indiana Jones 1 was kind of overrated (Don't kill me I still liked it)

the goonies omg
its okay, i consider it more of a classic then really a good movie, as i dont see them as the same thing. I think it just hasnt aged to well.

The new Star Wars. The 70s-80s ones were good, the 90s-00s prequels sucked, and the new one wasn't bad, but it was a completely recycled plot. Like, literally the first one all over again with a few names switched around. They've even got the jedi hero being from a stuffty desert planet.

The Goonies is amazing imo, but then again I'm pretty much stuck in the 80s in the first place

In my opinion, the original Star Wars (great movie, don't get me wrong) and sequels are placed on a pedestal too high for their own good.

The prequels couldn't climb the pedestal. In trying to climb it they left scratch marks. Disney utilized nostalgia (and Harrison Ford), and left many satisfied, but they couldn't reach the very top of fans' expectations.

gravity
all of the shrek movies
all of the twilight movies
zootopia
batman v superman

you can yell at me for this too: lord of the rings

That flew under the radar imo, it was a great movie anyway.
