Honestly the people making really stupid posts probably didn't have much a reputation in the first place and anybody that a big reputation anyway wouldn't be dumb enough to post something that stupid. Like jokes are fine especially if they're actually funny, but the real problem are the people posting literal spam, breaking the rules intentionally, and generally acting like an idiot.
