Author Topic: Multiple animations?  (Read 808 times)

I am new to animating and realise it's hard to master, but I've played around with it for about a week and there's still two things I can't do. I can't get multiple animations on the model and I don't know how to name the animations. Please post if you know how to do either.

Use the torque exporter plus, Use the sequences thing to set the frames of the animations, check the split .dsq export and do other stuff.

Ok.. that answers one of my questions.... but my other one is.. where in the script do I put the DSQ animations file name in to play... on whatever action its for?

I need to know this too.

Here's a run-through on animations.

Animations make up stuff in between keyframes, you can use multiple animations by making keyframed bits.

You can set the starting and ending frame on the animations, if you want it to loop then check the cyclic box.

Do this and make up a list of animations, remember to check the 'Generate .cs file' and 'Split DSQ Export' boxes. Export the .Dsq's and the .dts, don't export in animation mode or you'll bugger the lot up. I exported by accident and the gunfire sequence became a mad arm flailing sequence.
