Population isn't absolutely needed if you can't find a statistic; armies and navies are kept track of softly, so you don't need specific numbers.

Ah, in that case, it's a fair point. I figured though that I would like to start this RP sooner rather than later, and trying to accurately draw a map of Earth by hand is far from easy - let alone accurate country and province borders. I think most people would rather have a ripped but high-quality map over an original but stuffty one.
