Seriously, it isn't that bad, its that paradox of unmeetable expectations again, its the reason everyone hated duke nukem forever even more than it deserved to be hated, its why everyone would probably end up hating any Half Life 3 that would come out. Times change, things don't stay the same, and nostalgia only makes the expectations higher. If you take it at face value and distance it from the old series (that it couldn't possibly be an unchanged direct continuation of) its better than Teen Titans Blow, its better than Johny test, its better than Uncle Grandpa.
Plus I think we can all agree that them keeping the original art style was a better idea than the 2013 reboot
I didn't follow the original series back in the day (I was like 6 when it got cancelled) but with this new one my first reaction was
"Thank Christ they didn't ruin it like they did Teen Titans"
