Author Topic: How should I act at a funeral?  (Read 846 times)

This is not only the first time I'm going to a funeral, but the first time in years my mom gets to see my dad's side of the family. How should I act?

make hilarious jokes with funny joke t-shirts.
then piss on the casket.

Is it an open casket?

Generally it's best to just be quiet and don't get in anybody's way. You never know how others are going to be at a funeral. Save the jokes and partying for the wake (assuming you have a groovy family like mine).

Don't know.
Oh, well there goes my silly idea...

Seriously though, just be respectful. Also everyone will be crying so don't be embarrassed to cry

Thanks. My grandpa's death caused lots of problems. I'll get over it, though.

Just cry if you have to. It's alright, the death of a friend or family member is usually a time when most people are at their weakest.
Also, go into the kitchen and down a capful of hot sauce in front of your cousins and friends.

Never been to a funeral, only to velatories and crematories. I usually stand by and not say a word.

blame the guy that died

Think of all the ways not to act, don't do any of them.

I'm sure you'll be fine.
