I wish I was enough of a man to fight in HEMA competitions. I wonder if a set of medieval armor would be banned in Australia because it's probably knife-proof

It's slashing proof, not stabbing proof.

I love armor, but it's weaknesses to bludgeoning and heat make it very hard to fight in.

they should offer to make a hole in the top of the head so your fedora can continue to sit comfortably on your head

They do not deem European armor worthy to their standards.


That's one of my least favorite helmet designs. I prefer the ones with the vented visors or even a crusader helm. Plumes add a nice touch too. And DEFINITELY want large pauldrons. A cape never hurts :)
