I didn't like mr robot much
I mean it's ok
but not really great

I mean like spoiler alert: ["it was all a delusion" like ok why. who wrote this]
also I get that you probably like it because of a marginally realistic representation of hacking but I mean was it really

I just watched Troll Hunter. For being a subbed, foreign, found footage film, it was quite enjoyable. The CGI was pretty good.

Stargate Atlantis/Universe are both good too. Atlantis is more comical, while Universe is more gritty.

Battlestar Galactica is not bad either, although it's a bit heavy to watch at times. I can't really watch more than 2 episodes in a row.

From Dusk Till Dawn (TV Series) is a pretty good reimagining of the movie.

the only thing i really watched on netflix was cosmos

huge spoilers please dont look at if you havent seen all of season 1: [He's antisocial and has mental problems yes, that's why he's obsessive and has these tendencies to hack everyone he meets. And not everything is a delusion, mr robot aka his dad and the rest of his family was the delusion. All the other people are real. And it's not like that's the main plot points. There's a lot of interesting stuff going on!
and yes, it actually is really really accurate in terms of how hacking works. Which is another reason why I like it.

Not sure if it's on US Netflix too, but Prof. Brian Cox's Wonders of the Solar System/Universe/Life have just been added here.

They're absolutely brilliant, and it's a treat to see them, as they're never on any streaming service.

[are you sure the other people were real, cus maybe I gotta watch it again or something but I'm pretty sure I remember them being not real at the end
and his dad was a delusion but I don't think his sister was, I think she was the only one that WAS real. I'm pretty sure that I remember specific instances of the dad talking to the other hacker people, which would obviously be weird if they weren't also a delusion. but more importantly I don't remember seeing them at all after he realized the delusion

I liked it, and all, I like pretty much everything I watch. but I don't think it would make it to my top ten list
also the hacking alone I would maybe say is realistic (like lol writing code IN ADVANCE) but not like, other parts of it. [like that chinese guy, who basically kidnapped those two girls. or that whole scene with transgender b.d. wong, I don't think either of those or ANYTHING like them are very common in the real life hacking world]

on the other hand if you wanna see a completely awful representation of hacking (or police work rofl) watch CSI: Cyber
that show makes me wanna die idk why tf I keep watching it
