I bet they're going to go cry into all that ad money and their millions of fans. There are plenty of outlets they could go to besides YouTube.
Oh plenty of outlets eh? Yeah I guess they can just go to Vimeo and all of their fans will just migrate just to watch that one dude? Yeah no. People are lazy, switching off YouTube is a great way to lose 3/4ths of your viewerbase to go to an arguably inferior website.
They have a right to complain that they're not being treated fairly. Popular uploaders are the ones that make YouTube so popular. Without them, Google gets billions less in ad revenue. It's in their best interest to listen to these demands. It would be mutually beneficial.
