why the hell won't employers even give me a call back?

i've probably put out about 10 applications to different stores and restaurants, but i can't even get a call from them. i've even applied at mcdonalds and burger king, but we all know they'll hire anyone. it's really making me feel like a piece of stuff. what do i do?

You also gotta like, really not feel negative even on the inside. they see that stuff. you gotta brush the chip off your shoulder, loosen up, and go in like you're getting the job.

10 applications in 3 months is also nothing. At some point I was handing out like 20 every other week and still getting nothing.

yeah and they already have a bunch of forgetwits and they dont need another

it isnt easy to get a normal job like this, if you dont have anything outstanding about you they will throw you into the pile with the 100 other normal joes that submitted their applications

There's usually a huge backlog of Resumes that they keep on order and just pick them first come first serve, unless an exceptional potential employee shows up.

Just keep applying, the percentage of interview offers and callbacks is very low compared to applications submitted unless you're a prodigy in a field. Also make sure to be as good two shoes as possible in answering any questionnaires

I applied to walmart once and when they called me I forgot I applied because it was like 6 months later.
