Author Topic: forum bug (?) - lamps still lit even after viewing a board  (Read 2051 times)

it happens if you use the back arrow after viewing the board. refresh the page.

forgot to mention this
yet these are my posts
you wouldn't see them if you went back anyways

Uhh, I think you'll find they're called "Magic Diamonds".

Edit: Perhaps related to this similar issue I have?

Each time I post now, if I return to the board page, then it insists there's a new page, and that it's mine. Which obviously I shouldn't read my own posts as 'new'.
Refreshing doesn't stop it straight away either.

Don't give Badderspot any ideas mister

it'll eventually fix itself but it takes several tries at viewing the "new" posts

Not for me
Maybe it's because I'm on a phone

things like this changing make you realize all the things you do unconsciously that you might not notice normally
like, I keep making a post in a thread, then going back to the topic list, and immediately clicking on the "new" button on that same thread, thinking that someone had made a post after I did. and in this case I guess if I thought about it I'd realize that I'd do that, BUT what I probably wouldn't have thought about it was that I check who made the post after clicking the button. so it's like, now, I click it, then look over and realize what I've done wrong, after it's too late to change it

Yeah I just have a few topics at the front that I subconsciously click on immediately when I see they have the new symbol by them

I don't even do that. I just click on anything with the yellow folder and the new button. subconsciously, and all. and SINCE I don't actively think about the topic I'm clicking, I'll often wind up clicking on a topic I don't care about, but just happened to post in once for some reason
