anyone notice this? i remember it being hard-edged shadows before

also i guess you can guess what i'm building lol

Faraway shadows fade out before they finish hitting the ground. This has always been there.

I think it looks particularly soft here because of that arch, where a large amount of stuff is far enough to be partly faded out all the way across.

How do the server previews even work?
when you're on your server it will start a set of raycasts centered around a point defined by /setpreviewcenter (default is 0 0 0) and when its done it'll upload the image to the cloud

you can trigger the raycasts to start by inputting "startRaytracer();" into the server console.
