In june 2014, an anonymous poster uploaded a story about a friend of his who got a computer that he thought had a virus and it apperantly forgeted up his lights and tv and stuff, images were uploaded to OP's friend's computer and it formed a face

youre a little misinformed
/x/ tries to be real most of the time. /r/nosleep is for horror stories that are untrue, but the rule is to not break that 4th wall, that's why there is /r/nosleepOOC

real life horror stories are /r/letsnotmeet but last time i visited that was 2 years ago, i have no idea how much credibility those experiences still have. look on the best of all time on both those subreddits and youll find absolute gold. e.g Penpals from Nosleep which got made into a thrilling book i'd recommend to any horror fan.

im rambling though, just know the difference between /x/ and /r/nosleep

i know, only our resident coolster would be so frightened by this he would make a thread, i was scared at first but then nothing happened like he or the guy on the video described so im assuming there was some sort of tampering with the thread the original poster forgot about
