Being the harbinger of death and whatnot is usually considered evil, that's why the god of war, Bane, goddess of winter/death, the Raven Queen, as well as Nerull are considered evil. Then again the D&D alignments are bullstuff and that's why I hate using alignments as a DM.

death is not evil, undeath and killing are evil. the Raven Queen is true neutral, not evil, and she is  essentially the Grim Reaper.

no, but it's also not right for starting conflict and contributing to be opposing sides. taboo hosted loads of servers. the whole chart is a generalization
