Giant Jeep ( and other things )

A few days ago I've wrote some code that'll build a model when given a .obj file, and these are the results from it.

You working with hairspray?

You working with hairspray?
Took me a second to realize what you meant with this.
But no, I'm not. All of these are entirely generated using a code I wrote up just last night.

Also re-done the tank after I fixed the code.

638,633 bricks.

Now we can make more realistic snakees than ever before!

how long did it take
About 20~40 mins, but the obj file reading and processing was done in lua and took just about 10 seconds.

Can you change the sizes of the build or are they all set to the original size?

Entirely depends on the obj file, it's exactly the size of the model.

so in theory you can change the size of the obj file and get smaller builds?

Is your script using smaller bricks?

Hairspray uses bigger bricks.

Yes.

Hairspray uses bigger bricks.
And he built his by hand, correct?
It's just for loading any model.

He had the image projected for him on screen then build it by hand.

so did you find out how to use more than 1x1f ?

It wouldn't be entirely impossible to make something that'd optimize the brick count by using larger bricks, but it'd take too much effort than it'd be worth.
Edit:

If you'd like to see the tank in person, I uploaded it to dropbox here.
