Ah stuff. I just recently upgraded from a 99 Regal w/ 166k on it. It isn't pretty, and it isn't in perfect mechanical shape, but it runs and drives great. I've had it for two years, and just bought a truck. I'm hanging on to it for a little while just to make sure nothing forgets up with my new one.

People can talk all the stuff they want about Buicks, but they're good running vehicles.

ive had these fantasies which basically just mirrors forest gump where i am just desperate to walk a thousand miles to get somewhere and id meet people and i guess my story would get passed on

id so love to do it but ofc i would like need money to buy food and stay at places
thats a cool fantasy
i think about that too sometimes

I'm guessing much of this has to do with your current life circumstances but I believe I've felt something similar.
Growing up I moved around Australia constantly, and since becoming old enough to travel alone I find I become restless if I stay in one place for too long.
Your wanting to branch out and get away are completely normal, and traveling long distances can be a very calming experience.
I remember when I was traveling around Asia, I started out traveling normally with busses, cabs and tuk-tuks, but slowly I started to ride more bikes and then simply walk everywhere. In stead of a $3 car ride I would walk the entire day to go wherever I intended, the time spent on the move was a zen experience, an inbetween moment where you have no responsibilities or worries as you are nowhere relevant, but still on your way.
It's certainly not for everyone but maybe it's a lifestyle that's right for you, it's normal to be different.

It does sound like you'd enjoy a travelling holiday.
Consider doing one in the future, whether abroad or just in another state.

Hey XR, roadtrip sometime?
