Ah stuff. I just recently upgraded from a 99 Regal w/ 166k on it. It isn't pretty, and it isn't in perfect mechanical shape, but it runs and drives great. I've had it for two years, and just bought a truck. I'm hanging on to it for a little while just to make sure nothing forgets up with my new one.

People can talk all the stuff they want about Buicks, but they're good running vehicles.

My GM 3800 series is supposed to be a reliable engine. I just happened to get a dud, but it's still a nice car. Interior is still in relatively good shape.

I do the same thing except that thusfar I've remained within my own state.  I'll drive until I'm lost and try to make my way back home without any maps or anything.  Helps me keep my head on straight.

My dad talks stuff about almost every American car saying they're unreliable. Basically, to him, if it's not Japanese or a Volvo, it's no good.
