My advice for OP is to understand that serious relationships generally don't happen for a while. The thing I personally had a lot of trouble with was understanding the difference between loveual and romantic attraction. The first is "wow she's pretty" and the second is "I like her, being around her is good for me"

Have fun with it but don't expect a lasting relationship or any degree of seriousness until much later.
