How is that Ratchet and Clank movie doing?

I want this movie to do well because I'm sick of live-action videogame movies. Doesn't it make more sense to make a CGI videogame movie using the exact same models as the videogame counterpart and voice actors?

I can't figure out the film's budget and box office is only like 500,000 so I don't know if that's good or bad.

If the movie does well then Sony will make more movies based off their videogames.


This is like the best videogame movie of all time. So all the voice actors are there, the movie looks exactly like the game and the reviews are great. The problem is great reviews doesn't mean more money.

the game models are probably way less suited towards expression and free movement
then again i havent seen them nor have i played ratchet and clank beyond one of the games for the ps2 so what do i know

How? Holy stuff. It already made half a million in a limited release, I thought that was the world wide release.

Yeah like I'm not personally going to see this movie but I want it to do well so that Twisted Metal movie they were making comes out of movie limbo.

Also means other movies like God of War would get made too.

The latest god of war games already looks loving amazing with their CGI cutscenes. So a CGI GoW movie would be loving amazing.


You don't need a live action movie with people that look nothing like the videogame counter part. If you hire the same videogame studio to do the models and the script and you have a great videogame movie.

This is why live action videogame movies fail because some hollywood studio that never played the game before is the ones writing the story and casting people that look or sound nothing like the part.

A CGI mario movie would have done far better than that live action stuff they made.
