Author Topic: How is that Ratchet and Clank movie doing?  (Read 2554 times)

I PRE-ORDERED THE GAME WITHOUT HAVING A PS4.

I'VE GOT ALMOST EVERY loving TROPHY FOR ALL THE RATCHET GAMES (THAT AREN'T THE MULTIPLAYER BULLstuff ONES), AND I WOULD HAVE A CRACK IN TIME'S loving PLATINUM IF I KNEW ABOUT THE HARD MODE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE I STARTED.

I'M ONLY MISSING THE PSP GAMES AND ONE OF THE MULTIPLAYER BULLstuff TITLES.

THIS loving SUCKS.

I don't have any money right now, and I have major assessment due this term (which is my last term of college ever).

The titles on the side of the cases are shortened from the front of the cases. The titles on the front of the PS2 games are:

  • Ratchet & Clank
  • Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked & Loaded (changed from Going Commando)
  • Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal
  • Ratchet: Gladiator (changed from Ratchet: Deadlocked)

News update.

Turns out the movie had a budget of 20 million dollars and so far the movie only earned 5.5million.

Then a Sly Cooper movie just got announced. If Rachet and Clank doesn't do well there will be no Sly Cooper lol.

So support the movie if you want to see more sony based game movies. The PS4 version of the game is selling a lot though so that may break even.

The movie bombed hard. The reason why is because the overall movie was aimed at children which totally turned off adults. On the brighter side, at least the game is flippin' awesome.

it's not worth it man

User reviews are high. Critic reviews are low.

Gotta love how critics kill movies not intended for them.

yeah, most of the people who would go see it would be the fans of the original games, whom are all in their late teens/early adult years now.

taking the movie/game at a more childish route was a bad choice and it kinda killed a lot of the story and character progression the original game had.

They make money off the games, that doesn't exactly show off in the box office.

Some movies make more off games or DVDs and not the box office.
