Author Topic: what's a heavier? A kilogram of steel or a kilogram of feathers  (Read 8103 times)

i wish i could vote on the poll but both of them are wrong

A kilogram of something is the result of adding more and more of that material until you reach 1kilo, all other attributes are irrelevant.

It's a good joke in itself though, so well done if that was your intention.

the feathers of c...

a kilogram is always the same; its 1000 grams
so its 1000 grams of steel and 1000 grams of feathers, which is the exact same weight

a kilogram of steel feathers
YOU DIDN'T THINK ABOUT THAT ONE DID YOU

kilogram of feathers

not only do you have to carry the kilogram of feathers but also have to carry the weight of what you did to those poor birds

someone has probably said this but they both weigh the same

yeah

but

steel's heavier...

yesssssssssssss

A tonne of feathers though, is more difficult to imagine, as you've never really seen a massive pile of feathers before.
is that a challenge

someone has probably said this but they both weigh the same
no but
steel is heavier than feathers

A kg of steel is equal to a kg of feathers in terms of weight.

Now if we're talking about density, the steel is obviously much heavier.

to be real here
im surprised how many people dont get the damned joke
