10 000 / 6.25 = 1 600 seconds
1 600 / 60 = 26 minutes

5 mbps is 0.625 mb/s
10 000 / 0.625 = 16 000 seconds
16 000 / 60 = 266 minutes
266 / 60 = 4.5 hours

but this is discounting for the download servers speeds and depending on if your provider throttles your internet or not so it might not go at that speed at all

5 mbps down, i couldn't type the full thing in the title. i've never had a problem with this isp in the past with throttling.

assuming no one is watching netflix at your house, and wherever you are downloading from lets you use that bandwidth.

are you sure about that? most internet companies will display their speeds in megabits even though a megabyte is an eighth of a megabit.
