Author Topic: There is going to be a storm all night and I need sleep  (Read 842 times)

I have school tomorrow and need the sleep. I've never been able to sleep through a storm that has already started before I go to bed. It even gets worse when the electricity goes out, when there is no fan which means nothing to cool you down or white sound. How do I sleep through a storm!?

how does it keep you awake? a storm in itself is the best whitenoise for me.

Idk. But what really hits me is the really big lightnings

grow some balls bro thunder is tight
that stuff puts me to sleep it's like the solemn lullaby of the elements outside my window
well honestly it's more like an opera but I still love it

Same for me, but our new windows blocks the sound out so I don't hear it as much :c

Our window blocks 0% of it. I need windows like that.

Seriously thinking the same thing. I can even hear the slightly quiet ones.

MK, there is a drug you can take called melatonin. It is fairly natural, as your body produces it naturally. Take around five miligrams and you will be out for the night. It can be purchased in almost any pharmacy and you do not need a prescription.

meta_knight are you asleep yet and are missing the thread

Still here, about ready to go to sleep. Seems like chances of thunderstorms have decreased, so I may slip through the night without waking up from a thunderstorm. I'm right by my crappy window without a fan on and hear absolutely nothing.

Accept the fear and realize that its all in your head
