You got the junky slim variants then.

I had a fat. There was a button.
No switch.

aside from it not being able to do that, unplug it

I have 2 PS3s, my secondary is a slim and my primary is not. My primary has no switch.

my primary is a fat ps3 and it does have a switch?

I will google it but I doubt it is slim because it is bigger than my ps4

Edit: oh it is a slim. That is one fat slim.

What I had.
Those are buttons.

Moltenkitten doesn't know nothing about PS3.

turn it 90 degrees on any possible axis or alternatively keep unplugging it

I thought it would be common sense for them to include a kill switch. I might have to get a separate power strip with a loving off switch now.

congratulations you just solved your own problem

I shouldn't have to do that though, it's ridiculous.

I would rather put tape over the button if that would prevent this.

there's 0 reason you need an on off switch.  A PS4 can run for two days on the main menu and be just fine.

I shouldn't have to do that though

you could always unplug the ps4

If he wanted to fix his PS4 he would be unplugging it, so it's obvious he has some other motive behind this thread
