Author Topic: My school started a new policy.  (Read 1700 times)

My school no longer allows you to get bathroom passes during class, the 5 minute passing hour or lunch is the only time you are allowed to use the restroom or leave class. (You are allowed to leave to do things during study halls but it requires a special slip/card)

/discuss

This is currently being applied to science courses, the coming weeks will result in every course being locked down.

are you loving kidding me

seriously, how do you even enforce this? you can't just expect kids to be able to do it in passing periods, using the restroom takes a lot longer than that

Nope, can't take a piss, wash your hands, or get your water bottle filled.

A few bad apples ruin the bunch.

Thats how my school works

forget whatever the teacher says, go to the bathroom whenever you want. If they want to make a big fuss about it, set a precedent by threatening legal action

as someone who has tried to use a restroom during a 5 minute passing period it's difficult and makes you pretty close to being late
wtf

Do they still let you out if it's an emergency or do they just say "Too bad, shoulda went before class."

I agree though, this policy is loving handicapped

Seriously if I was in the shoes of a kid in your school I would much definitely risk pissing a teacher off over stuffting my pants. If they want to stop me from leaving they're going to have to physically restrain me

I'm glad I have a bladder of steel so never have to piss at school.

Also if you leave class, even with permission, you will get an office referral or swept.

Medical conditions or emergencies are allowe

The forget? I really hope you're kidding.

this is handicapped

I hope kids do what ike said and just walk out

In which you tell them to stuff their stupid policies up their arse and continue to do your god given right of passing waste, and if they really wanna make a big deal out of it, tell them if they suspend you that you will take legal action. Preventing kids from using the bathroom when they need to is a very unhealthy and unsafe practice that at worst case scenario can cause lower intentional issues.

stuff, shave, and a shower five minutes, came to mind when I heard about this policy.

Trust me, there's gonna be petitioning and arguing over this soon enough, ones it's applied to every course.

Try to get students to get their parents involved and threaten stuff as well. If they get enough of stuff they will most likely remove this policy and or make it less strict

Give me the coordinates im nuking this place
