Author Topic: how hard exactly is the act?  (Read 1504 times)

i feel like if i can't get a least a score of 24, then i'm a total idiot. also, i can't even get into the major i'd like to be in at the college i want to go to. for those that have taken it, how easy/hard has it been for you?

Acting is pretty easy. Sign up for drama classes to help you act. I can act pretty well.

i'm pretty sure "the act" is some sort of a loveual reference, so if that's the case I would recommend asking your parents.

If you feel comfortable not being yourself then it's easy to do stuff it's too early in the morning for this

I would prepare by looking up what you need for it depending by the state you're in

Judging by the OP (the post not the poster) I don't think he is talking about love

i'm almost certain he means the ACT test

Buy one of those ACT prep books. It will help you study what you need to know, and you can take practice tests to help manage your time.

Lol at the misjudge

The ACT is easy lol

Yeah you should really capitalize ACT because I thought you meant acting as well

i got a 24 my first time and felt surprised b/c i expected at least 28

just remember that it only costs $80 to retake iirc (one point higher could save you much more than $80 on tuition) and the test is in no way an indicator for actual intelligence

You can do it, champ!

The thing with the ACT is that if you have infinite time, you could do really well (upper thirties), most likely. The trick to doing well is knowing how to answer questions quickly and efficiently. I've taken it twice and got a 26 and a 27, and both times I know I could have gotten more right if I just had the time.

So do some practice tests and work on your speed. The question themselves usually aren't actually that hard.

If you suck at taking standardized tests, its hard as stuff
