Author Topic: Music won't appear on the addon screen things.  (Read 1355 times)

Last night, I downloaded a lot of music. I moved them all into the addons folder, which you were supposed to do (according to How to Install Music).
I went to activate the music, and they were not there. Thinking it strange, I started the server.

Help?

make sure there are no spaces in the file name
ex. After_School_Special.ogg

make sure you exported it as an ogg (cannot be a wav, mp3, etc.)

make sure you exported it as a mono (this won't necessarily cause the problem you're having but it causes other problems if you forget to)

make sure the file is less than 1mb (one megabyte)

And also restart Blockland after putting them in there if Blockland was running when you put them in.

make sure the file is less than 1mb (one megabyte)
1 mb    is      30 seconds?

i make loops smaller than 30 seconds

no 1 mb is one megabyte.

sometimes the quieter the song, the less space it takes.

oh..

you better take a look in my loops, because they are not quiet.
some are VERY loud and BASSY.

Listen to them, they are not quiet.
Take a look

I see the default music files

If you're using steam, make sure you're finding the Blockland directory in your steamapps folder, otherwise, go to the Documents/My Documents folder.

And you're putting them in Documents\Blockland\Add-ons\music
Not in any sub folders and not packaged in any way?
