Author Topic: if everyone in the world vanished except for blockland forumers  (Read 10920 times)

Meet up with the rest of the Arizona Blocklanders and cross the desert to hang out with the cali Blocklanders.

That or get high with Nick  :cookieMonster:

Well I have 5 real life friends who play Blockland/ Have a Blockland Forums account so I'll survive with them.

RIP everybody who lives near a nuclear power plant. Without any engineers around they would all have a meltdown eventually.

I would probably just die before long.

I live in quebec where im pretty much the only forumer there. But if i met other ones i would probably kill them, especially lord tony, patton, akio and moltenkitten.

That said i could have the problem of floods and because of where i live, overgrowth of planets and have the area become a forest like it used to be.

I've always thought about everyone vanishing and thought how i would go about it, so I wouldn't mind.
But i don't think any forumers live near me and i'm not sure if that's good or bad.

We'd have to become vikings and cross the Atlantic to steal US women.
that is acceptable.

does "blockland forumers" refer to all 16,514 accounts that have posted at least once
yes but alts don't count

this is total documentary material

Assuming this only counts active forumers, the world's population would be ~200 and mostly  males <18 years old, and mostly separate, in some cases on different continents.

Forumers would likely either be alone or in a small group of <5. Most major infrastructure would fail to function, so unless you've got solar panels, kiss electricity goodbye. In rural areas, forumers would likely have to farm for sustenance, or learn if they don't already know. Urban forumers would be limited mostly to what they could scavenge from abandoned stores and homes.

It honestly depends on the abilities of the average forumers to be self-sufficient and be able to secure and maintain food, water, shelter, and heat. Considering most forumers live with their parents and are entirely dependent on them for everything, the human race would likely go extinct. The lowest the human population has ever been bottlenecked down to was ~10000 individuals and the fact the human race recovered from that was the more unlikely scenario. With 200 individuals, even IF the forumers were somehow able to cross oceans and band together, the lack of genetic diversity would be a problem and any sort of natural disaster would be particularly deadly to such a small and concentrated population.

Edit: forgot about infighting. There would probably be major issues over who would lead/handle distribution of resources.

I'd team up with Maxwell and defend the border of SCOTLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAND from those brits and whales but we'll let in the irish.

kinda an overstatement, gas powered generators wouldn't be too difficult to come by. the local hardware store probably has enough gear to get you self sufficient on utilities.

Who cares about finding other forumers when I'm coked up off my face hooning racecars through the city streets?

well, i have a boat.

well, i have a boat.
got it, you're on forumer gatherer duty

have fun sailing to europe
