call me a loving handicap but are bolt action rifles hunting rifles also?

I'm actually not too sure what constitutes a hunting rifle, but yeah most rifles used for hunting will be bolt action, but not all bolt action rifles are used for hunting. I just prefer bolt-action because I'm familiar with the parts and they're pretty loving hard to jam
