I am not the only one who thinks people stay on the fourms more then the game right? as if they retired.

yes sadly a lot of people who are on the forums don't actually play the game

I play if i'm ever working on a mod

i be buildin but i don't go multiplayer unless a server grabs my interest

I'm on the game a lot. I go on forums because I like reading and posting things.

I probably play the game and browse the forums at the same rate by now

It's two different environments, practically a whole different community

There's a huge difference in the way you communicate in both. Sometimes I like the fast-paced back-and-forth talks that happen in-game and more often I prefer the slower kind of communication that forums offer where you have time to kind of think. But uh normally I'm on whenever someone calls me - although I haven't been on steam in like weeks?

I host little minigames like Rocket Arena or Boulder dash every once in a while for a few hours, that's about the extent of it. I love the communication style in both media, the forums provides a sense of importance while the game gives a more chatroom/hangout-y feel. I still love the game a ton, but sometimes it gets old doing a mass invite through steam lol.

i'm on the forums way more though.

I usually only play singleplayer nowadays but every now and then I'll see a cool server in general discussion and try it out

I don't have time to play Blockland anymore so I richard around on the forums whenever I have the chance.

i play regularly and if i quit ingame i generally quit the forums as well (e.g. go on hiatus)

i usually stick around on one or two servers for weeks at a time, or host my own, which can vary from making builds for TDMs or something to making a new mod.

Its a hassle for me to play blockland as I either have to go on steam or disable my internet connection and use one of my older accounts, so I usually just stay on the forums. Surprisingly, this is the only forum board I have ever found which has a unique and active community with a ton of content.

i generally stopped playing the game and now live in my sanctuary that is the glorious blf
on rare occasion ill join a server once in a while

as if they retired.
This is a hilarious and strangely accurate way of thinking of it.

I've been going in-game a lot this last year, in order to make cars, but always singleplayer. But I found that I got the most valuable feedback when I actually visited servers where people had tried my cars. Then I kind of got the idea that, I, uh, wasn't as clever about some of their handling setups as I thought I was.

See: The apparently ice-based back wheels of Jacket's Car, and the way the springs on the currently-released crown vic kind of ... stink. on anything but a flat surface.

i still play blockland about as much as i use the forums
