Author Topic: Image Cutting and Transparency  (Read 914 times)

Hello, sorry to bug and bother, but I've made a request a while back I believe a year ago from an old friend who helped out. But I haven't heard from that friend in a long time and I have another set that I can't cut without failure in the images.

If anyone is able to, I need the images in the folder below to be removed of the background as well as possible. I would be forever grateful of your help. The background would be best if it was Transparent with the Alpha Channel.

all of those images except for two have plain white backgrounds
just download paint.net and use the magic wand tool

Have fun making these look good with nothing but wanding. Most of them have glow or soft edges as well as edge luminosity, some of them are even artefacted to boot. In short these images are a major pain in the ass to make transparent and almost certainly not worth it

im sure a soft edged eraser could solve that. i haven't seen the pictures since im not on my computer so i don't actually know how complicated they are

post pic here
im on my phone aswell

Have fun doing that on 10 images of varying quality and size for no personal benefit whatsoever

just set hardness down on the eraser and trim out the white parts

pretty sure it's only for personal benefit

Just google hatsune miku png and you'll find loads of transparent images on the web

I did give a try at it using mostly the magic wand and it came out ehhh

okay I would say at least on lighter background, a darker background just would show how bad my quick edit job was. A soft eraser would make the edges a whole lot better but that actually takes time compared to something like the magic wand.
