I bought foxscotch.us from godaddy at first, but later transferred it to google domains (because godaddy sucks)
and I would highly recommend google domains
I haven't really had any bad experiences with godaddy but I do prefer Google Domains only because it's Google, which is why I too transferred.
Plus Google Domains is like a buck cheaper a year and free private who-is or whatever it's called so no one can look up your address. Godaddy charges you a fortune for this.
