Glad we cleared that up. But in all seriousness, though, don't use "I wasn't told to stop" as an excuse to do idiotic stuff. Imagine how idiotic people would look if they were like "They didn't tell me to stop stealing that diamond," "they didn't tell me to stop preying on little kids," or even something as extreme as "they didn't tell me to stop shooting up a mall."
 If you excuse simple stupid stuff like that with said excuse, it'll develop into bad habits.
