The LEGO Movie, which was created in Australia (Animal Logic) was released 3+ months late in here.

For what? The hope would be that a delay is going to improve any outstanding problems in the product. I'd rather developers pull a title they know isn't ready and finish it than put it on sale when it's only half-baked (and as a Ubisoft RP rep, I have a lot of experience with this).
