Author Topic: Blockland on console Ps4/Xbox one  (Read 1448 times)

i was playine minecraft and roblox earlier that day, and i though, why not Blockland? anyone else want to back this with me? :nes: :nes: :nes:

this wouldn't work at all :nes::nes::nes:

pretty sure that someone actually made controller support, although it was kinda bad because of the way the game works  :nes: :nes: :nes:

steam controller actually controls pretty well. cept for the building iteself since the numpad is still best.

way too many keybinds

what i would like to see is virtual reality blockland

how the heck would you build with that

vr is just first person gaming. nothing really innovative about that cept for an infinitely wide monitor.

Would the torque engine even be compatable?

you would not be able to control building at all
i loving guarantee it

I can kind of see it maybe working with a ps4 by using the touchpad

Why would you want to get a gimped version of the game especially when it absolutely wasn't designed with a controller in mind. Only controller I can see it working on is the Wii U Gamepad, too bad having BL on the Wii U already guarantees the game is going severely limited in one way or another and/or perform badly.

i've binded everything in blockland to a controller in the most comfortable way possible and it was still awful. Blockland has no purpose to be on a console unless you want to use a keyboard and mouse/joystick/whatever, but at that point you might as well use a computer. Blockland can run on any computer on the market right now, so there's no reason or need for it to be ported onto PS4/XB1.

Would the torque engine even be compatable?
As far as I know it is. Marble Blast Gold/Ultra was made with Torque and it was on XBLA, unless they remade the game in a different engine. But then again, that was the Xbox 360, I have no clue if there's an engine compatibility difference between consoles.

i think it could work if you switched between a building mode and normal mode and the menus were redone for controllers

this wouldn't work at all :nes::nes::nes:
i put the  :nes: because its a system :/
