Author Topic: What are the worst online communities you have seen?  (Read 5162 times)

blf and the iPad forums

I made a help topic on the iPad forums one time asking why my keyboard didn't make the clicking sounds anymore, and got IP banned for saying "damn" in part of my post. I read through some of the mod's posts who banned me, and the guy is comparable to a hybrid of Ephialtes and Furdle. Superiority complex built on a foundation consisting solely of his massive ego. He goes about it so subtly though, so everyone still strokes his rooster every time he posts.

competitive tf2
yes holy stuff

there's nothing more aggravating than people that talk stuff or spam binds / taunts in games, and people in pugs or lobbies get so pissed if someone forgets up

/pol/
BLF
Reddit defaults
Tumblr
ROBLOX
Minecraft
LeafyisHere
Filthy Frank's fanbase
Anime

forget them all

would put stormfront but at least they have integrity

really brother
ehh i like anime but i don't participate in forums about it

also add news comments sections, which have all gone to stuff, news sites should all remove their comments sections since they're just filled with trolls anyway

Lol well that was unexpected.

Although I do not have a problem with people who watch and/or like stuff like MLP, I will say that in many ways the online community is pretty bad. Same can be said for things like FNaF, Roblox, etc. No problem with people who just enjoy it though.

I don't spend as much time browsing other places and I tend to choose more laidback communities if I do. Right now, I'm only visiting three forums and I gotta say that the BLF is definitely the most hostile, but it's definitely by no means the worst forum/community out there. After all, I spend the most time here out of the other forums so it's obviously keeping me around.

I could understand the BLF or 4chan, but the iPad forums?? really? Lmao.
That's so uncharacteristic for a support forums to see it lumped in with the likes of the BLF, it's unexpectedly hilarious.  That guy must feel like he's the god of iPads.

Every community that I have stumbled upon/heard of (including this one) is bad, but I think that the ROBLOX, furry, MLP, and fnaf communities take the medal.

Same here.

any competitive gaming community

The tamest competitive gaming community I've seen so far is contained in World of Tanks.  Perhaps it's because actual teamwork is required to win, and runnin'n'gunnin' tends to get you killed very quickly (for most classes, anyway.)
