I'd like to make a point about the trailer the OP posted. From Discord:
So, let me explain something.
If you've played Hotline; Miami, you'd know about this.
A while ago, game developers discovered something magical.
If you freeze the game for less than a second at the exact moment of impact, the player gets a rush of endorphins.
It feels great.
So devs have started adding the so called "freeze bonus" to intense action games.
These guys are loving idiots, though.
They've gone ahead and put it on every single moment of action.
And it's too long.
So the game comes off as being laggy and frustrating since it's not a consistent and smooth experience.
